A song written when I first saw prairie dogs with my kiddos in South Dakota. They pop out of holes and signal each other , with an intricate system of rooms and tunnels below the ground.

This song highlights that concept while also indicating that we care for things so they can be found. Social emotional learning, with self-regulation, responsible choices, and thinking forward. I love to sing this song when kiddos are just coming in the house or when they are starting to put something down in a random place. Invite children to put away, not down during expectation setting at the beginning part of the transition cycle.
