SongSolving™ with GuideNotes™
SongSolving is how to use GuideNotes songs to meet your needs as an educator, parent, child guide. It's also how to create culture. I review some of the process in my programs, and will publish more soon, but in the mean time, here are some tools! The essence of the process here is to identify your need, then the "Cues and To-Do's". What do you want the children to do or feel? How do you want them to behave? Do you want their energy up and louder, or soft and cozy? Then we find the songs and "install" them so that we can use the little bitty ditties along your daily routine to cue the kiddos. Kathryn teaches this process to educators in her teacher training. Look for more opportunities to learn soon! Posts are educator-focused right now but will integrate more at-home themes soon!

Read about the Song Index here. The Song Index has all of these song tool types in one place. ALL songs I have published are accessible, for free, from the Song Index. Page through or search by toggling the first letter of key word. That page also has a feature to find songs by topic or category (like below). Deeper searches are available by clicking into the categories themselves. Please log in to by joining "Field Guide Member Access (yellow button) for the fancier searches. Membership is free. Why? Because I write these songs for a reason and I want them to go to where they need to go, without financial boundaries. I write songs to impact and inspire wellness and wonder in the lives of children and their adults. If you find my work meaningful or helpful, please let me know! If there is a way I can serve your community, please let me know! If there is a rendition of a song that I can create for you, please let me know! If you are able to contribute to this endeavor, please do! This is a work of heart, in service to childhood wonder, wellness and community. I began by writing the songs we needed as a family with special needs, and having a differently working brain and disability myself. I am so grateful to have written and had these tools as my children have grown and to be able to serve others with them. While this has been mostly volunteer for the last 15 years, I am welcoming contributions as I have now grown this body of work to have national impact with equity focus.
