This is a social-emotional song a bout an oak tree. Intended to pair with an oakie doakie tree check in, during which the child indicates their feelings. It is also intended to provide a space for kiddos to self-regulate to cool down or begin to name big feelings they are having. It is NOT intended as a time out space. It's about understanding self and having things to do to regulate self, while providing a safe way for a child to opt out of an activity.
