About the event
Magical, Musical Fox sprinkles fairy dust in a story-concerts with a magical fox.
Join Frolic the Fox on the Rhyming Rug™ for a WonderTime: a yoga-infused, singy-songy-storytime full of movement, mindfulness, imagination, and social-emotional goodness with original songs. These songs are written to engage the whole body, spark imagination, and give you tools for gently nurturing and guiding children. Themes celebrating nature, seasons, childhood and community. Music by Kathryn Para (Frolic’s Human Form).
This is an exciting new evolution to Kathryn’s work, while also stepping back to her original storytelling roots of Rhyming Rug of 16 years ago! You’ll get tools to bring her songs and ditties home, with yoga and movement sequences integrated with songs, ditties and rhymes. Imagine engaging your kiddo for a little one to five minute yoga time-in that you know and remember!
We practice the ways of wonder: Nature, story, song, play, movement, mindfulness, creativity and laughter!
Here's some of what we do:
- Story adventure arc with our Rhyming Rugs
- Original songs & ditties by Kathryn with nourishing themes and covert parenting tools
- Yoga and movement in short, acessible sequences you can bring home with your family.
- Linking song, yoga, mindfulness, breath, social emotional wellness and community with imagination, play, nature and fun!
- For homeschool: Music, phys ed (yoga), mindfulness, wellness, literature, math (often), rhyming, imagination, social skills, emotional awareness, Social-emotional learning (SEL) and more!
$20 per Adult with child, add $5 per additional children in one family. If joining after Gentle Flow, Babes in Tow, add Rhyming Rug on for only $10 during GFBitT registration. We want everyone to be able to attend soff the cost is prohibitive, email Frolic@kathrynpara.com with Equity and the name of the class and we will send you a coupon, no questions asked.
As Kathryn has pivoted her work toward “maximum childhood impact”, she has taught hundreds of educators around the country to integrate song and wonder into their days and bring self-care and mindful practices into their days. She is building tools and a library of original music at www.kathrynpara.com/songs, where you can search for songs by your topic and need.
Attendees will be granted access to Kathryn (& Frolic’s) “Community of Wonder” to connect with other attendees in the “Local’s Only, Frolic on the Go” space. We are currently building this space out.
This is a diversity-embracing, affirming space with welcoming, inclusion and trauma-informed practices. Please email us with any questions or concerns. All brains and bodies are embraced. Tell me how I can make this accessible for you or your child. It matters to me.
Yoga barn class packs accepted for each class.

Cancellation or Substitution:
Due to performance, conference, consultation and family travel, some days will require substitute. Where substitute is not available (because of the unique class structure), I encourage a meet-up and community time anyway! Community space will help with coordination.
